DESIGN RESEARCH & PROTOTYPES

Zoom

Superpowered Metropolis

July 2019 - August 2019

Worked with a small team of exhibit creators at the Children's Museum of Manhattan to create the digital experience for Superpowered Metropolis: Early Learning City. Designed an interactive learning game system for a large touchscreen device to teach children to enhance their cognitive functions. Children are immersed in a comic book version of New York City where they become superheroes with the help of pigeons: Zip, Zap, and Zoom. Created system diagrams using Unified Modeling Language, designed the prototype using Adobe XD, and made the character animation to the left using Adobe Animate.

verbaWise

VERBAWISE

September 2017 - December 2017

Worked with a small team to develop a prototype for a medical translation application to remove language barriers between patients and medical professionals to provide better health care experiences. Conducted research to identify problems with existing technologies and opportunities for an improved medical translation device, developed surveying strategies, implemented affinity diagraming, and created a high fidelity prototype using Photoshop to lay out the interface and InVision to make the prototype interactive.

Anxiety wearable

ANXIETY APPLICATION & WEARABLE

September 2017 - December 2017

Recognized a growing population of people suffering from anxiety and evaluated the current methods and resources available to manage anxiety. Determined that service dogs are a beneficial resource but the application process is cumbersome and expensive. To provide an alternative solution, I worked with a small team to create a ubiquitous solution that emulates the role of a service dog. Designed a wearable that utilizes sensing technology and communicates with a mobile application to provide feedback to users in order to overcome their anxiety and carry out their daily tasks.

Edible Arrangements

REIMAGINING EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS E-COMMERCE WEBSITE

November 2017 - December 2017

Redesigned the user interface for Edible Arrangements e-commerce website to improve customer user experience. Utilized UserTesting digital platform to collect feedback from e-commerce shoppers. Developed a prototype to convey the new vision for the website using Photoshop and InVision.

Learning

TADPOLE

January 2018 - March 2018

Worked with a small team to design an interactive website for elementary school children to track their classroom behavioral performance at home. The goal of the website is to encourage students to communicate with their guardians about daily classroom interactions as well as motivate students to behave well in class through a gaming reward system. This current project is still in a low-fidelity prototyping phase. Contact me to learn more.
